Record Store Day 2015 Staff Picks! Andy's List

Record Store Day 2015 is only a few weeks away (4/18)! We polled our staff on their favorite RSD 2015 releases and we'll be posting their lists from now until the big day! Remember, we open at 7am on Record Store Day, so come see us first!

The first list comes from our esteemed vinyl specialist, Andy Nelson!

1. Willie Nelson - Teatro 

2x gold wax on Light In The Attic Records. First time ever on vinyl for this 1998 release.

2. Metallica - No Life Til Leather cassette

Recorded in the summer of 1982, No Life Til Leather is Metallica's most widely-circulated demo tape. The track listing contains early versions of their debut album, Kill Em All. First official release, remastered for Record Store Day.

3. Blitzen Trapper - Harvest 

Live recording of the band covering the Neil Young album, Harvest, live at the Doug Fir Lounge in Portland, OR. 180-gram vinyl w/ download card.

4. Citizen Dick - "Touch Me I'm Dick"

7" single of the fictional band Citizen Dick from the Cameron Crowe film, Singles, featuring members of Pearl Jam. Side A is "Touch Me I'm Dick" and side B features an etching of a quote about the song from Matt Dillon's character Cliff Poncier, lead singer of Citizen Dick.

5. The Replacements - EP 

10" black vinyl four-song EP sourced from Pleased to Meet Me. Originally released in the UK as a 7". Includes Alex Chilton, Nightclub Jitters, Election Day & Route 66.
