Grady's Record Store Day 2016 Picks!

Grady's Record Store Day 2016 Picks!

In less than three weeks, April 16 to be exact, we'll throw open our doors at 7am for Record Store Day 2016! We've asked our staff for their short lists of must-have titles for this year's event, starting with Grady!

Deftones – B-Sides & Rarities – This is an amazing collection of covers and alternate versions of some of the Deftones work up to White Pony. So stoked to finally get it on wax, and it will be on GOLD wax!!

Mew – And The Glass Handed Kites – Loved working this record when it was released via Sony, a beautifully delicate pop album! This special import edition includes gatefold cover and 4-page, full color insert with poster.

The Sonics - Live At Easy Street – A historic record! It was amazing to be at the store last year for this performance… the special guests, the solid sound, seriously a must have if you love ES and NW icons!

Original Soundtrack - Judgement Night – This piece was yanked out from under me last Black Friday, so it better be there on 4/16! This soundtrack is on the ground-floor of my musical foundation, the first true mash up of hip-hop and metal, alternative rock… a precursor for Nu-Metal!

Runner Ups:

Brian Fallon – Georgia – 10”

Metz/Mission Of Burma – Good Not Great / Get Off – 7”
