Michael Jackson died today of cardiac arrest at the age of 50. A Los Angeles Fire Department official said Jackson was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his house at 12:30 today. He arrived at the UCLA Medical Center "in a deep coma," according to the L.A. Times, and was pronounced dead later in the afternoon. Despite his bizarre behavior in recent years, we hope he will be remembered most as the King of Pop and the master of the moonwalk. As one commenter in The Slog put it, "Farrah Fawcett AND Michael Jackson dead? Our whole childhood in one day?" Rest in peace, Michael...and Farrah.
