Peter Gabriel to Release New "Song Exchange" Album - Free Download!

Peter Gabriel will release his new album, Scratch My Back, February 15 on Virgin Records. The album is the first part of a series of song exchanges in which Peter and other leading artists reinterpret each others songs. Scratch My Back includes versions of songs by Arcade Fire, Lou Reed, Elbow, Radiohead, David Bowie, Paul Simon, Neil Young, Regina Spektor, and this song by Bon Iver, "Flume." 

Jay Reatard Cause of Death - Cocaine & Booze

According to autopsy results released this morning by Shelby County Medical Examiner, Dr. Karen E. Chancellor, Memphis garage rocker Jay Reatard died from "cocaine toxicity and that alcohol was a contributing factor in his death." Reatard was found dead at his Memphis home on January 13.

Johnny Depp To Direct Keith Richards Documentary

Speaking of coke and booze, Johnny Depp is all set to step behind the camera for a shot at directing a documentary about the unbelievable life of Rolling Stone Keith Richards. Depp told European media: "Already next week I'll start working on a Keith Richards documentary. While I'm in Drvengrad, my editor is already working on kilometers of archive footage and footage of his concerts. I'm very touched that Keith agreed to show up in front of my cameras."

Flaming Lips to Repeat Dark Side of the Moon Set at Bonnaroo

Flaming Lips singer Wayne Coyne revealed that the band will play Pink Floyd's classic album Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety at this year's Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. It will mark the second time the Lips tackle Floyd's 1973 opus, the first being their New Year's Eve show in their hometown of Norman, Oklahoma. Bonnaroo is taking place June 10-13; the full lineup of performers will be announced February 9.
