This is a solo project of Tim Presley from Darker My Love, but it sounds like a full band effort. He plays all the instruments. What I love about this album is that I feel like I’m hearing the work of a man who has intensely studied the Kinks and the more psychedelic side of the Beatles, and crafted an album of what he interprets from those bands. If you ever thought that those groups were “too poppy” but you’ve wanted to love them, then this is is the album for you.
