If I have the chance to attend Bumbershoot this year, I am definitely most excited to see Social Distortion. Their self-titled album changed my life when I first discovered it, and they've been one of my favorites ever since - I consider Mike Ness one of rock n' roll's quintessential lyricists. The fact that they will play that album through for its anniversary would be a very special experience. Aside from them as my most obvious choice, I think my other top ten picks would include these below acts:

Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals
Billy Strayhorn Project - what an exciting showcase for one of our country's greatest composers!
Cambodian Space Project - the 'shoot is pretty good at choosing intriguing world music
Faith No More - the myth, the legend, for their triumphant return I have never experienced
Fitz and the Tantrums
Flying Lotus - thank Badbadnotgood for getting him on my radar
Lee Perry - an experience I am sure I would be unable to forget

Who am I excited to see????? 3 words for you: FAITH NO MORE. 1 more word: PEACHES. BOOM.

Who I am excited to see when you select me ;-)

Atmosphere (with Mike Patton on stage... this is a no brainer, right?)
Constant Lovers
Cave Singers
Faith No More
Flying Lotus (with Mike Patton on stage... I can dream, right?)
Hey Marseilles (why aren't these guys huge! remind me of less crusty Neil Young!)
Israel Nash
Lee Perry
Melvins (with Mike Patton on stage... I can dream some more, right?)
Social Distortion

I'm excited for The Weeknd, Chance, Flying Lotus, Fitz and the Tantrums, Jhene Aiko, Atmosphere, Keys n Krates, Raz Simone, Zedd, Social Distortion, Flosstradamus, Paper Diamond, Ellie Goulding, Hozier, Bassnectar, Brandon Flowers, Big Data, Hey Marseilles, Nacho Picaso and BFA!

Bumbershoot is going to be a really good cardio workout for me so I can see all these amazing artists!

I am excited to see Lindsey Stirling (my son's favorite artist), Lee "Scratch" Perry, Devotchka, Built To Spill, Kacey Musgraves, Lonesome Shack, Peaches, and the comedy shows. But what I enjoy the most is seeing bands I never heard of before. Some of the bands I discovered were La Luz, Red Fang, Down North, The Men, and Jason Webley. These are the acts I am pining for!
