"Walk All Ways" SSHS 2019 Champagne Gala Brunch!
Ahem, queue epic music...nice. Last year, the Seattle Public Library asked lawn chair NW music historian, West Seattle somebody oh and he’s also our boss, Matt Vaughan to be part of their monthly lecture circuit and to give a talk on the history of Easy Street, calling it “How I Got to Easy Street”, reviewed by NW Music Scene check out the article here.
The sold-out event was inspiring to a lot of youngsters and historians alike. The Southwest Seattle Historical Society has invited Matt to do it again. They are calling the event “Walk All Ways” Matt says, “It’s hard to talk about the shop without talking about the history of Northwest Music, this time I’m gonna try to talk just about Northwest Music and not about the shop, we’ll see what happens.” Legendary Seattle DJ John Maynard will interview Matt afterward. There will be time for discussion and mixing it up at the end of the event.
